This was the first full album I ever made. It's a bit rough around the edges. I wrote and recorded it throughout 2010-2011 when I was obsessed with John Carpenter and acts like Xander Harris and Umberto, who's music I still adore. During this time I was watching Carpenter films nonstop while writing the nerdiest thesis paper about his understated position as a true auteur. I realized I never really released this album in any way. It's certainly very different from what "Kangarot" is today. It's more of a conceptual soundtrack than anything. I've decided to keep the original (and goofy as hell) duel title track listing. October seemed like the perfect time to resurrect this lost album from it's crypt. I hope you enjoy it.

I have to credit my late father for my obsession with horror films. He loved horror and sci-fi and would always let me watch movies with him that my mom disapproved of. He passed away in 2011 when I was 21. In a way, finally releasing this is my own cathartic love letter to him. I miss you pops, I'll watch some movies for you this October. In the month of Samhain, don't forget to pour one out for those you've lost.
